The Aviv Bakery has its origins in the village of Shalib in White Russia. From there, the Wolf family left on ship for Israel in 1887 and set up The Aviv bakery in Neve Zedek. The name of the bakery was taken from the word for the spring season of Aviv when the Passover festival occurs. Once the delightful cookies grew in popularity, the modest factory relocated to Bnei Brak and now uses modern, state-of-the-art technology for perfect cookies.
